Welcoming Autumn with intention

As September begins, we find ourselves stepping into the season of autumn—a season of change, reflection, and transformation. The days grow shorter, the air turns crisper, and nature reminds us that cycles of release and renewal are all around us. At the same time, the world itself feels as if it is shifting rapidly. With so much change in motion, it becomes even more important to ground ourselves in mindfulness and be intentional with where we place our attention.

We know that what we focus on expands. Our thoughts are powerful magnets, shaping the reality we experience. The question then becomes: How do we create the life we truly want?

Often, we are taught to approach life with sheer determination—pushing forward with effort, striving, and willpower. But as Wayne Dyer so beautifully shared, there is another way: shifting our mindset from ego-centered striving to a spiritual orientation rooted in divine connection.

When we begin to see our challenges through a spiritual lens, we rise to a higher level of consciousness where new solutions can emerge.

If we continually dwell on what is wrong with the world—on fear, anger, or lack—we inevitably see more of it reflected back to us. But if we choose to align our inner dialogue with the universal mind of intention, we begin to co-create from a place of harmony.

The universal energy of intention is not harsh or demanding. It is kind, generous, and loving. Its very nature is to foster growth,

flourishing, and fulfillment.

This means our inner speech, our quiet conversations with ourselves, matter deeply. Instead of staying in the state of wanting—“I want peace, I want love, I want fulfillment”—we can reframe.

We move from wanting to being. When we embody peace, kindness, and love within ourselves, we become one with the energy that creates worlds.

Kindness, in particular, is a gateway. When we choose to be kind—to ourselves, to others, to the world—we align with the very power of intention itself. From this place, life feels more cooperative, doors open, and love flows more freely.

As we step into this season of change, may we each set the intention to do what we love and love what we do. When we approach life this way, we naturally attract more love, more harmony, and more joy into our lives

Autumn invites us to release what no longer serves us, to trust in cycles of change, and to walk forward in the energy of pure love.

This is the way to welcome the season:

not with resistance, but with intention.
